Health Minister: 4.8 Million People in England to Be Given Covid-19 Vaccines This Week

The health secretary has said that more than 4.8 million people in England will be offered a Covid-19 vaccine this week, as the country aims to give all adults a first dose by the end of July.

Matt Hancock said about 4.6 million people would be invited to book their first dose of the vaccine, while 200,000 who had already received their first dose would be offered a second.
