Awesome FREE Baby Box for New Moms!

Our first-ever experience with a free “baby box” was with Baby Box University and we absolutely loved what they offered! In fact, this article used to be solely focused on their box. They have since closed up shop but they opened our eyes to the fact that there are tons of baby boxes out there and we’ve rounded them up below for you.

We highly recommend taking advantage of these to stock up on baby must-haves!

What is a baby box?

The baby box concept comes from Finland, where mothers receive a box from the state that comes with clothes, bathing products, and various newborn essentials. The box the government provides in Finland can also be used as a bed and ensure all infants in their country have a safe space to sleep.

This has helped them achieve one of the world’s lowest infant mortality rates!

Where Can I Get a Free Baby Box?

Unfortunately, the United States government does not offer a resource like this to new parents but there are a few places where you can get an awesome box full of baby goodies!

Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box

The Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box is a free gift box for customers who create a baby registry on Amazon. It’s filled with baby-related items, samples, and coupons.

To qualify, you need to be an Amazon Prime member and make a minimum purchase from your registry. The box includes products like diapers, wipes, bottles, clothing, and more. Keep in mind that availability may vary, so it’s best to check the Amazon website for the latest details.
