In my research, I found that Bobbie Organic Infant Formula was developed by a group they call the Bobbie Medical Affairs Team. Consisting of pediatricians, scientists, OB-GYNs, pediatric nutritionists, lactation consultants, and doulas. This team of leading experts worked together to develop a trusted infant formula.

Bobbie Formula’s recipe is 57 percent carbohydrates for energy, 28 percent fat for growth, 11 percent proteins for development, and 2 percent vitamins and minerals for growth and development. It has a 60:40 whey-to-casein ratio.

The combination of whey protein and casein closely matches that of breastmilk. Also similar to breast milk, they use lactose as a primary carbohydrate.

What’s Missing?

Bobbie baby formula does not include any added prebiotics or probiotics. Therefore, if your baby has trouble passing milk or formula without help, this may not be the best option for you.

However, they did recently introduce a new Bobbie Organic Gentle Infant Formula. It has partially hydrolyzed proteins making it a better option for sensitive tummies! I am really excited about this addition to their line-up as it means even more babies can have high-quality Bobbie Formula.

How does Bobbie compare to the competition?

In comparison to the leading formula brands such as Similac, Enfamil, and Gerber, Bobbie Formula is formulated with a simpler list of ingredients and without any added corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.

One of the biggest advantages of Bobbie Formula is that it is made using organic and non-GMO ingredients, which means that it is free from harmful chemicals and pesticides. Bobbie Formula also uses lactose as its primary carbohydrate source, which is more easily digestible and closer in composition to breast milk than the commonly used corn syrup.

You might also be wondering how it compares to HiPP, arguably the most popular organic formula on the market. I’d say the biggest difference is that HiPP is made in Europe and not FDA regulated (it is regulated by the European Commission).
